SONNET 005

Smell and taste garbage, feces, urine, sweat,
Pus, mucus, vomit, carrion, nails and gall.
When you retch, chew the cud, so soft and wet
With your thick spittle, swallowing it all.
See and hear beetles, cockroaches, lice, fleas,
Ticks, leeches, maggots, gnats, grubs, snails and slugs
That leave the sewers, spreading their desease,
And make you fall sick. Feel all worms and bugs.
They scrawl up, sting your legs and suck your blood.
Let vultures tear your lustful flesh apart
And scavenge for your eyes replete with mud.
Let rats gnaw off your tongue and bite your heart.
But if you are disgusted at those things
Do be sick at the filth that your sin brings.
