Forgive this poor poet, my dear

The lady always smiled in difficult times
As the world outside collapsed
And cancer consumed your body
I slept in fear of waking up without your presence

Strong woman, you are the reason I rise from every fall
Stronger than any army, stronger than any storm
You will always be on my mind
You will always be part of me
