Xabier Lete: The Poetry and Song of the Basque Soul
Xabier Lete Aranguren (1940 - 2010) was a Basque poet, singer, and composer, widely recognized as one of the pillars of 20th-century Basque culture. Born in Oiartzun, Gipuzkoa, Lete stood out for his deep connection with the Basque land and his ability to express, through poetry and music, the anxieties, hopes, and identity of his people.
