Praise to the undeserving is severe satire.
Pride is said to be the last vice the good man gets clear of.
Pride that dines on vanity sups on contempt.
Reading makes a full man, meditation a profound man, discourse a clear man.
Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult still, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.
