Erik Gustaf Geijer

Erik Gustaf Geijer was born in Ransäter, Värmland, in 1783. He was a Swedish polymath, known for his work as a historian, poet, writer, and composer. His historical work focused on important events and figures in Swedish history, such as the medieval period and the Vasa dynasty.
